1904-O VAM-12 Doubled 9-4 and Profile, O Tilted Left
Discovered by Martin Field, December 1978. Revised 2009 by VAMfinder to add Overlapped Reeding.
Revised 2010 Deleted Denticle Impressions or Overlapped reeding. This went to V12A & V12B.

Obverse III2 8 - Doubled 9-4 in date. 9 doubled on bottom outside of both loops. 4 slightly doubled on left side of lower half of vertical shaft on fully struck specimens. Date at right side of middle of lateral position. Slightly doubled profile from front of LIBERTY band down to neck and hair edge above date. Very slightly doubled some left stars and PLUR towards rim. Die marker - Short horizontal die scratch at eye front.
Reverse C4b - Die 1: Heavy curved polishing lines in eagle's wings and tail feathers and wreath bow. Slightly doubled top two leaf clusters in left wreath. Same die as VAMs 2A & 6. Later die state than VAM 2A. No overlapped reeding.
