1881-S VAM-7 S/S Left & Up, Doubled 18

Discovered by James Cornish, November 1967.
7(revised) III25 · C3c (S/S Left & Up, Doubled 18) (187) I-3 R-5
Obverse III25– Top of lower right crossbar of first 1 and inside right and bottom outside of lower loop of first 8 slightly doubled. Second 1 has vee on lower surface.
Reverse C3c– IV S mint mark re-punched with original showing as a short vertical spike to right of upper loop opening and an arc within middle of lower loop opening.

1. This reverse shared with VAM-7, VAM-24, VAM-26. and VAM-30.
