1881-S VAM-37 Doubled 18-1, S Tilted Left

Discovered by Martin Field, March 1981.
37 III2 14 - C3p (Doubled 18-1, S Tilted Left) (186) I-2 R-3
Obverse III2 14- First 1 doubled slightly at top right of shaft and at top left and right of bottom crossbar. First 8 is doubled slightly at top inside and strongly at bottom outside of lower loop. Upper loop of first 8 has spike at left inside. Second 1 doubled slightly at lower left side of vertical shaft.
Reverse C3p- Medium mint mark centered and tilted slightly left.

1. This obverse shared with VAM-27 and VAM-37.
2. This reverse shared with VAM-37, VAM-42, VAM-44, VAM-51, VAM-57, and VAM-67.
