1881-S VAM-24 Doubled 18-1, S/S Left and Up

Discovered by Martin Field, October 1978.
24 III2 13 - C3c (Doubled 18-1, S/S Left and Up) (185) I-3 R-4
Obverse III2 13- 1 doubled slightly at top left of lower crossbar, bottom left and top right of vertical shaft. First 8 doubled strongly on surface at top and right inside and bottom outside of lower loop. Second 1 doubled slightly at top left of upper crossbar.
Reverse C3c– IV S mint mark re-punched with original showing as a short vertical spike to right of upper loop opening and an arc within middle of lower loop opening.

1. This obverse shared with VAM-24 and VAM-66.
2. This reverse shared with VAM-7, VAM-24, VAM-26. and VAM-30.
