Obverse III2 31 – Doubled date with 1 as short bar at top of lower crossbar base left side, 8 at left inside of upper loop, 7 at lower tip of upper crossbar and 9 at left outside of upper loop.
Die marker - ' The polishing lines in TY of LIBERTY.
Reverse C3a – Die 2.
Die marker - Diagonal die polishing lines in wreath bow.
1. VAM-37 also has a pitted reverse. The doubling on the left inside of the upper loop and on the left outside of both loops of the 9 appear very clear on this ANACS AU55 coin.
