1879-P VAM-102 Doubled 879, Profile & Cap Top

III2 91 - C3a (Doubled 879, Profile & Cap Top ) (???) I-2 R-5
Obverse III2 91 - Slightly doubled 879 with 8 at right outside of both loops, 7 lower right of vertical shaft and 9 left outside of both loops. Slightly doubled Liberty head profile from forehead down to chin. Slightly doubled Phrygian cap top edge. Short die crack in hair right of ear with small die chips at both ends.
Die Marker- Polishing lines in ERT of LIBERTY.
Reverse C3a - Some heavy die polishing lines in lower part of eagle's left wing and a few isolated lines elsewhere.
