Discovered by Leroy Van Allen, August 1989.
This coin is a Top 100 Morgan VAM, This coin is a Top 30 1878-S Variety.
56(revised) II 24 · B1c (Long Center Arrow Feather, S Set High) (184) I-5 R-7
Obverse II 24– Two horizontal bars out from front of eye. L of LIBERTY slightly doubled on lower left serif.
Reverse B1c– Small III S mint mark set high, slightly to left and upright. Die marker of lower part of tail feathers between eagle’s legs missing due to curved raised metal.

1. Other Long Nocks include VAM-26, VAM-27, VAM-57, VAM-58, VAM-59, VAM-60, VAM-62, and VAM-72.
2. Obverse II 24 also used with VAMs 56 and 62.
