1922-P VAM-2AG Die Scratch Next to Last Ray, Long Clash Spike Eagle’s Shoulder

2AG(revised) II 1 · B2a (Die Scratch Next to Last Ray, Long Clash Spike Eagle’s Shoulder) I-3 R-5
Obverse II 1– Long thin and shallow horizontal die scratch at base of next to last right ray.
Reverse B2a– Severe die clash showing as long vertical spike up from eagle’s right shoulder from back of neck of obverse up across ray to N of UNUM. Clash spike further left than VAM 2AA. Later die state shows die file lines around clash spike.

1. Same obverse as VAM-2AS . After the severe die clash of 2AG, the reverse die was switched out and became VAM-2AS.
