Attended local coin show

Post by lured_in_again » Mon Mar 22, 2021 1:50 pm

Finally after about a year, was able to hit a local club show. Interesting arrangement, tables widely separated, masks worn by most everyone. Didn't find a lot of loose silver dollars to look at, did buy a couple as I usually do if the dealer lets me look through their loose stock. Got a lower grade 1890 o VAM 13a without clash, really like those worn out dies. My best pick was at the entrance table where some club members give away items they no longer want. Picked up "The History of United States Coinage" book by Q. David Bowers (as illustrated by the Garrett Collection) a 500 + page book filled with numerous photos and tons of information. A great addition to my numismatic library.
