It appears to be a Colonial Mexican coin.
Value is 4 Reals.
Minted 1542-1555 under Carlos I.
I am not familiar with the G-M mint mark.

According to Heritage archives of previously sold coins of the same type, the G stands for the assayer. No specific mention of what the M stands for, but my hunch is it's the mint mark for Mexico City.
When in doubt... don't.

The lowest price of the 59 previous lots (all assayers combined) Heritage has sold is $282 for an uncertified group of 2 coins in 2013. The highest price is $2,530 for an NGC-61 example.

I can't even being to guess how much being a jewelry piece would hurt its value.
When in doubt... don't.

@DHalladay

You just saved me some money,
Time, etc, as its not what I thought it was presented as a RARE item!
You would be amazed at the asking price!

Thanks again!

Here's an article about the Carlos - Juana coinage. This one looks to be from 1543-46, probably a shipwreck coin.
