I have a group of 82-S pulled from original mint bags that seemingly all came from the same dies. Each one has a die Polish scratch under the chin leading out towards the rim. Would that be considered an 82-S VAM, if so would it be attributable at either grading service?

Every Morgan that was ever made is a VAM.
There are approximately 5000+ different ones throughout the entire 1878-1921 series that have been identified so far.
Many new ones are discovered every year.

Your 1882-S are probably a known VAM, but given how many 1882-S were made, it is also slightly possible that you have a new one.

My key recommendation is to post large, clear photos of both sides of one of your coins and let the 1882-S specialists here see if they can identify it.
When in doubt... don't.
