1881-P over polished reverse

Post by Sundance79 » Fri Oct 11, 2019 11:24 pm

I just got an 1881-P with some of the leaves in the wreath over polished. I can’t seem to find it listed on the site. Is it new, or am I missing it. They are just above the ‘N’ in ONE.
THANKS FOR ANY HELP.

That's a rather common feature, specifically with those 2 leaves and also isn't something that would be "VAM listable." With 81p you want to check minor variations in date digit doubling for the most part which can be tough with coins that are below XF. Post a full cropped shot of each side and a close up of the date. If anyone sees something that might lend to identifying the particular die pair they'll chime in and help :)
