The only 88p's with a near date worth a darn are the 7 series and 30A. Hard to tell if you have a slanted date with that picture though.

Date looks too low to be an oval variety...

Your rim schmutz is in the wrong place for an eds scarface (and eds aren't worth buying anyways)...

No die break or greasy letters of 1A...

Definitely not a shooting star...

I'd almost say it looks like an inverted 8, but it doesn't look high enough?...

As for the VAM, that's easy... it's obviously an LDS of the 1888-X VAM-XX.

That date looks a lot like one I recently found in a high grade (for that VAM).
Could it be VAM-15?
