The first is always special and especially a Morgan. There are still a few Peace out there but Morgans are tough to find. Congrats and Awesome!!

That thread impression on the lip matches the one on the VAM 12.

I guess I'm having trouble seeing how this is different than the 85-O VAM 12...

The reason I flagged this one was the dash under the 8, which isn't mentioned on VAM 12, only VAMs 7, 10, 14, 16, 25, and 29. Is the dash on your VAM 12?

Hi JB,

Yes, the VAM 12 does appear to have a very faint dash under the second 8. It's so light that LVA probably didn't include it in the original description of the die; it is even fainter on LDS examples.

Maybe this VAM 35 has a different reverse pairing, but from here it still looks like a VAM 12 match to me.
