A very Merry Christmas, somewhat belated, to all of my VW friends, along with an early Happy New Year wish. On another matter, are any of you deer hunters having any luck? I would love to see some pics. I'll put mine up if I can ever see anything but does and fawns.

For the second year in a row, I shot my buck off my deck. Nice three point by western standards, you easterners would call it a six point. They love my apples. Had a herd of over 50 elk in the yard about two weeks ago. My property of 20 acres borders timber land so I am fortunate to have them around a lot. I'll have to see if I can find some pics.

Good story Bob. Would love to see pics. White tail or muley? I've got an 8 pt. (eastern count) feeding in my yard, but wife won't allow shooting of yard deer. I've been having trouble posting pics, but will try again on the 8 pt.

Belated Merry Christmas to all. Remember the true meaning of Christmas. The wife and I came home from dinner Saturday night and had two white tails laying down in the front yard. It would have been so easy.

Funny how we change: As young man i loved hunting - Now- for years i feed & have the deer named &
their are some dandies. Neighbor ranch allows friends to hunt so keeps pop down
I hate cleaning/skinning etc so i stopped about 20 yr ago.
For those avid- good hunters i say kudos -enjoy- be safe as calif is a mess with
to many hunters doing stupid things. Oregon & Pacific NW is the ultimate hunter/
fishing paradise. I love my oregon. Scott The Morgan Nut
