1879-S assistance requested

Post by Namvet69 » Thu Sep 09, 2021 5:13 pm

Hi all, This MS-67 is a treat to study but I'm stumped. I located a curved gouge marker off the hairline at the face but it's higher that VAM-1B. The other points of interest are an obv die break at N, IGWT a chip in G and dblng on W. I'd appreciate some help. Thanks. Peace Roy

Check out 1879-S VAM-60.. The dot on the chin is the key to this one. Nice coin.
