1881-O VAM 27

This could be a WoW coin . 1881-O VAM 27 RAW ,maybe MS 62 PL hope for better .
No bidders and I work the Peace dollars and this lady fell into my lap . :oops: :mrgreen: :popcorn: Morgan guys let this go to the Darkside .

I am not seeing the doubled ear.

I have bought some on eBay where the ear doubling was obvious, only to get the coin and discover it was either reflection or shadow. I don't wee it here and one of the key indicators I use is missing. On the VAM 27 the hair at the neck comes to a sharp point indicating an early die state with no re-polishing of the die.

Based on these images I cannot identify the VAM, but I think NOT a VAM 27. Also, there are a number of VAMs with slight doubling of the earlobe, but that is not the VAM 27 doubling.

EAR only Doubled ear and doubled hair above ear . I used my new camera on the AmScope , MD 35 camera . :mrgreen:
Now I can learn how to uses this new tool . :lol: :mrgreen: :popcorn: First picture .

At that magnification and angle it does in fact look like a VAM 27. Congratulations.
