1921-P: solved!

Post by DHalladay » Thu Feb 18, 2021 2:40 am

There isn't a lot on this late die state D2 coin, but the lines under OL in DOLLAR are compelling, as is the crack through the R. Plus, there are a lot of scribbles remnants.

Any ideas?

That's it!! Thank you so much.

And I have a slightly earlier die state example with a bit more details to confirm it. :D

Glad to help.

Later on there is another die crack intersecting to the left of the R of DOLLAR and extending up the right wreath.
