Yeah; I know what you're thinking, cleaned low grade 78 's' mint ready for the melt pot -- but no; uber rare V 86 die 3 with only 3 in the SSDC registry fished out of the murky depths of the Bay of E. After a trip to ANACS with a side trip to JR later this winter, this will be #4. Won't make much gain in points on the #1 or #2 78-S sets, but another hole filled!

Its hard to understand just how rare some 78S VAMs are. You nailed the 1G D3 and now this one. Persistence pays off. You get it. Nice job

Thanks Tim! In the last year or so, I have learned to realize how incredibly tough many of these 1878 s' are. Lots of studying, and reading. You helped pave the way for folks like me. Take care!
