Re: 2021 dollars
The original concept was to follow-on to 2016 gold versions of the new designs. For 2021, it was a 1-T.oz. high relief gold "Peace dollar."
The external proposal for a 2021 Morgan (fully bogus idea), and a 2021 Peace dollar have not, I think, passed Congress and been signed. (I'll ask The Donald this afternoon at golf....) The Peace dollar itself is not worthy of a dual date (1921-2021) commemorative silver dollar. A high relief gold bullion imitation could be difficult to make due to the small volume of 0.999+ gold available. This was a problem in 2016 with the gold half dollar. One possibility is to use 0.900 fine gold on a double eagle planchet, using high relief Peace dollar dies - much like the MCMVII double eagles. That could be an impressive souvenir for coin collectors.

I kind of figured that would be the response. Thanks.
Re: 2021 dollars
I hope better than they just handled the V75 gold coins. Apparently they all went to dealers and created an extremely rare coin that most here will never be able to buy in grade 70.
I was on the site and hit enter within one second of the sale and never got through. With only 1945 coins available they created a nightmare for all but a handful of dealers.
I just looked on eBay and the PR69DCAMs are running about $15k and the PR70DCAMs are running around $20k. Most if not all are mysteriously available from dealers. Go figure!
