Back from LVA

Post by PacificWR » Fri Nov 13, 2020 1:12 am

Received my latest package back from LVA on Monday. As you can see when you read the attached letter from LVA, things have changed and he is having a hard time adjusting.

The revision is for the 1889-P VAM-23B. There are three die states.
1. Un-clashed.
2. Single clashed.
3. Doubled clashed.
Although, not mentioned in the revision, die stage #5 (fist doubled clashed stage) the roughness around the left stars is almost gone. Very interesting as it reappears in die stage #6. Page has been updated.

Great work Wayne on those 1889 P VAM 23B clashed die states (three)! Interesting die chip on point of neck.
Looks like you elevated LVA's interest level on this one.

As a side note. High resolution photos are being taken and will be added to the VAM-23B page.
