Cherrypicked a 1921-S VAM-1B3 ...2020 seems to be a THORNHEAD year for me

Post by vincar73 » Wed Jul 15, 2020 10:45 am

Aside from the much more serious problem of Covid-19, this year seems to be really lucky for me.

After picking a 1B3a and a 1B7 here is my 1B3

Maybe it won't grade due to some deep scratches but i'm very happy :D :D

I still haven't yet taken an acetone bath but wanted to share pics

A 1B7 and a 1B3 that's unreal, a 1921 VAM 44 can't be to far away for you.

Finally i've received back from PCGS this coin and i've noted that it has minor rotation, maybe 10 degrees CW.

Are there any known rotated dies for thornheads??

Any Thornhead...is a good Thornhead! Congrats.
