HA Shipping Delay

Post by LateDateMorganGuy » Tue Jun 23, 2020 12:55 am

Don't know if anyone else is experiencing this. I won a coin on May 27th and still do not have it. I emailed over a week ago and got no answer. I called today and was told it would be a few more weeks while the "move" is on. So if you are expecting something from HA, be patient seems to be the suggestion.

By the way, the coin is a PCGS AU55 1901 VAM-20 NAOH "buffed reverse". Got it for basically common $$. It looks to be a LDS enough to be interesting.

Cool coin! HA is moving into a new office closer to the DFW airport. I imagine moving their inventory securely is a bit more complex than throwing a Pelican case into your trunk and driving across town. Of course, it'd be nice if they actually let winning bidders know to expect a shipping delay because of it.

Nice! I cherrypicked one in PC 58 last year as an upgrade for someone. My first time seeing a higher grade example in hand and I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. Pics really do belie how gorgeous the v20 rev is in-hand 😎

Armored cars with armed private security escorts and HA security's eyes at all times. They don't notify customers unless absolutely necessary as to not publicize the move.

Talk about being patient to receive a coin, I waited close to 3 months for a coin to arrive from the U.S.A. to the U.K. Because of the 'COVID-19'. It was for a '87s and a 82 o/o. Was worth the wait.

Makes sense, although the move was fairly well publicized already.

Most of the value was already moved by the time it was publicized.
