Wandering the Bay during downtime

Post by lured_in_again » Mon Jun 01, 2020 11:36 pm

My stay at home time has led to a little extra time on the search for interesting Morgans to add to my collection. The latest one to arrive at the house was a 1921d VAM 1R (noted in the listing) Perhaps a little later die state? http://ec2-13-58-222-16.us-east-2.compu ... 1-D_VAM-1R

Sold one (PCGS AU53) in the same die state on eBay in late April. Foolishly auctioned and it brought thirty bucks or so (half of my cost).

Always try to put a reserve. That or just start the bidding at or near what you need. A lesson I learned the hard way. I know, surprising! Thanks.🐍

Almost bought this one but I have little interest in 1921s. :D

Yeah, but unless they changed the fee structure over the years significantly, I learned my lesson with reserves, that nobody bids those auctions and eBay fees for them add up fast. There were just some I should not have auctioned (at 99c start with free shipping).
