Regarding Decorum

Post by messydesk » Fri May 01, 2020 12:11 am

Please keep feuds off the forums. They contribute nothing to advancing the hobby and only serve to turn off newcomers.

If you think you need a break for a week or so, take it. If I think you need a break for a week or so, you'll get one. If you think you need a break before I think you need a break, that's a good thing, and we'll all probably be here when you get back.

Never share private messages to the forum. It is a breach of trust given to you by the person who sent the message and will earn you a time out.

If you want to put someone on your ignore list, that is possible. If you want to block private messages in addition, let me know and I'll explain how.
Welcome to the VAMWorld 2.0 discussion boards. R.I.P. old VAMWorld.

I only wish to expose fake and false info. Being a liar, or not of good character is not good for the soul, it needs to be outted. I like long walks near the water, and take them often. Thanks Alan, I do miss convo w/you.
Henceforth; Do not send me a PM if you are afraid it will be made public. It is a message 'sent' to me, I have nothing to hide and therefore will share.
I have not asked anyone to 'delete' my messages. I have no reason too.
I have not asked anyone to ignore what's been said in my posts. I have no reason too.
I have not asked anyone to defend my messages. I have no reason too.
But he sure has.
Your all adults, agree or disagree. No comment is needed. You have a mind of your own. Move on if you choose.
He is what he is, my opinon will not change until he proves otherwise.

Serious question then. Where is the line drawn? Where I think it's offensive/feud or you do?

Its' a tense time right now, especially for us old farts. It is easier to get riled up right now. This virus is getting on a lot of peoples nerves and some of us have not been out of our houses for a long time.To me that means that I have to reassess my thinking. Also, there are a lot of really strong personalities on here, one of the things I like about it. I'v always enjoyed the dignity of the vam community.

JB gets the final word. He gets hit from all directions. Even me  He decides what is constructive and what is not. I get long walks near the water Alan, every day. The virus has not effected my day to day. I'm ok, I've just had enough of the lies. Be true to yourself, be true to us, or go away. Seems simple.

Thanks for your comment Kenny,
I too have been chastised for calling out a member in VW's defense.
If your're thrown out, pick me up on the way out the door.
I have your phone # and you have mine. It's not the end of the world. Integrity is a big part of society and has to be called out when its lacking.

thanks JB; For posting this on Decorum; as it goes for everybody here.
Everyone here has his right to their opinions, and god knows i have many strong ones
if and when we cross the line with them is what makes the good or bad difference
After some 50 yrs collecting/investing in Numismatics, I have seen quite a variety of
issues, most involving the people, not the coins
Anybody calling another a Liar and Fraud or worse withot proof is a indication of
in security at best and insanity at worst IMHO

I have always bought & sold honestly and did not achieve collection & personal success by
dis honest or Fraudently actions, Hence it is very sad that a person who does not even know me
stoops to such low depths, and posts publicly, thus attempting to defame ones character
Its Ludicrous and amusing as well. My rant has ended LOL

lets let this post die as to not stir the pot unnecessarily and furthermore

Before one posts ask yourself these three simple questions:
1-Does this need to be said?
2-Does this need to be said by me?
3-Does this need to be said by me now?
Everybody needs to just calm down..Please.🐍
