NGC Thread on GSA Morgans

Post by Terence » Fri Feb 21, 2020 8:56 pm

I started a thread on the NGC newbie forum about 7 GSA Morgans I recently acquired in an estate collection.
2- 1884cc
2- 1883cc
1- 1882cc
2- 1878cc
Here's the link to the NGC post:

I believe that Jgrinz and I determined the variety of the first one I had questions on ... a 1984-cc VAM-7A. I then posted earlier today here on the second 1884cc which I believe is a VAM-3.
I look forward to discussing the remainder of these Morgans with everyone here. Needless to say i have a lot to learn!
Here is the 7A

Yup, the 84-CC is a V7A! This is the hardest 84-CC to find IMO. Maybe a true R6.
