Interesting. Its pushed medal so def PMD. Wondering if its as-struck tho, some form of ejection doubling?

It is oddly interesting. I know nothing about it but it looks like something you might see if it was cast.

Look in From Mine to Mint for basic information on how reeded collars were made including the kinds of machine tools used from time to time. Once you've read the relevant sections, go back and look at your coin again to see if you can determine that cause(s).

Need more info/detail for a thought on it.

Could be "flow fill" from a weak strike, or x-jewery, if I had to guess.

Can you shoot LFPC's for the "rest of the story", pls.
