I'm afraid that if I posted a picture of my desk, it would damage what little credibility I may have earned.
But in my defense...

my office(the temporary one) is a disaster. 4 desks piled high, lots of reference material in boxes, a bunch more on a bookcase, my laptop is 9 years old, and failing, my camera is even older and put the two together, and you have a serious problem downloading and uploading pictures, and I have waited 3 more months to get back in my office because my wife says it should be painted first(and she claims that she is the one who is going to paint it). and doing 60 shows last year pushed me further behind with book and article writing.

@fogie That card catalog is fantastic. I love the feel of sliding those old drawers out. So smooth. My humble area. It works. Mostly. That's a beautiful VarSlab calendar in the background. Thanks all.🐍

Wow Fogster. I've heard the tales you spin of your fantastical land of magic and neatly catalogued numismatic gumdrops but to finally see it, even in picture form, is awesome 😎

What it looks like when your wife has no interest in the difference between a byte and a terabyte. Or even better the difference in an x86 chip and a dodeca core chip!

I finally got around to tidying up the place, and in fairness thought I'd share.
It's just temporary - until I get the lathe out of the living room.
I know some of you Noobs are pretty envious, but be patient, your time will come.
JB, re you really living up to your moniker?
Fogie, love what you've done with the enhancements. Especially the one that looks like an English boarding musket.
