I just completed my 1878-CC set!

Post by vamnuke » Fri Jun 21, 2019 8:05 pm

Another milestone complete; the 1878-CC is complete, thanks to my "Help Wanted" ad on the BST pages; currently #2 in the SSDC registry, but well behind the set from the individual that literally wrote the book on the subject. I will try to upgrade when I can of course...so the hunt continues!

Congrats on the set! Looking thru them side by side, most of our pieces are fairly close for scores. The real difference only comes from something like three coins. Of course, they're all tough as hell at that grade level. Venture over to the 78-CC GSA set if you want a new challenge...

Yes, will probably look at the 78-CC GSA set some more; I have a few in that set. I still have lots of work to do in the 78-S set; a distant 3rd place in the SSDC registry with that one...

WTG Clayton! :D
I got all of the "keys" in the 78cc's, but couldn't convince my self to spend all that money on the more common ones... maybe some day...
I don't think you are the first guy I've heard of that had trouble finding a VAM-7 either.
I go totally NUTS for WOW! VAMs!! Or is that from WOW! VAMs?
