Thinking outside the VAM...

Post by CascadeChris » Thu May 02, 2019 5:12 am

On a quick overnight buy trip to NorCal and snatched these on a stop along the way up. No idea if they're cataloged or what they're worth, ie if they bring a premium, but I got em under bid so the VAMmer in me couldn't resist!

Sorry for the crappy hotel pics but it's all I got... plus a belly full of Cental Cali beef feeling spent like Thanksgiving came early, whew.

Beautiful coins, and great photos, certainly better than none.

Took a peek at the NGC Variety Plus page. The half dime looks like FS-301. The nickel sounds like RPD-001, but they don't have a picture.

Thanks for the jumpstart JB I'll see if I can nail the V down. Just couldn't resist em for the price.

Dave, I'm heading to Vegas on the 17/18th then coming out to TNA! I'll hit you up when it gets closer. Could use some insight on good shops to visit within a 100mi-ish radius. Coming into town the Tuesday before the show and leaving Sunday. Get ready to party!

Ayyyye 👍 Seems like a few of us will be there :D Is there a VW table to meet at? Or just look for the group huddled around the ANACS table passing around discovery letters? ;)

I'm looking forward to the TNA Chris. I'm afraid I won't be much help with B&M's in and around the Dallas metro area. Maybe @ Paralyse could help you out though. I'm pretty sure that's his back yard.. ;)

I'm sure there'll be a continuous SSDC crowd around the ANACS table....There was a couple years ago during the ANA money show.

I love those punch drunk dates. I'd buy them regardless of the denomination they are on. :)

Pretty sure the 1907 is in the treasure hunting liberty nickels. Regardless, it’s a great rod.

It’s not in the edition that I have but it could be in a newer edition.
