I've have a 1921 Peace dollar consignment at Heritage, and the bidding is way over anything that makes sense to me. Can anyone offer some ideas why?

It's a please tone? CAC? Be happy. Remember how happy you are when Heritage takes their cut. Good luck on it. I like it.🐍

It wound up selling for really silly money... $204 including buyer's fee.
That's like AU55 money! But the coin is only VF30. Multiple bidders just wouldn't give up. :o

This coin was a bright spot in what otherwise was an auction that spanked me repeatedly.

The same thing happened to a friend of mine. NO Sale on two big items.
