Re: Covid Shots

Well I have been in semi-lockdown for a year. For me there is more upside potential in taking the shot.

My recommendation based on my experience would be get it if you can.

If you are willing to take the risk by not getting it, that is your choice.

Re: Covid Shots

One thing we learned is that out of caution many or most people registered in two or three places. As they got a shot they released the other one or two and suddenly there was an abundance of vaccine. So check around for the Moderna or Phiser, they might be out there and just not well advertised. Re: Covid Shots

If you have a chance to get the others I would take it and not wait. One unintended benefit that my wife and I didn't realize was anxiety. There was a big feeling of relief once we got the shot.

Re: Covid Shots

He was home for about 10 days before getting worse and it going into pneumonia. Then he went in the hospital and has been there for 10 days. The doctors...

Covid Shots

I got the Moderna Covid shot yesterday morning about 11 and have had no real reaction I went to bed with a sore arm and feeling only what we would describe as “fuzzy” headed Woke up this morning with just a little soreness and very little feeling of “fuzziness” As the morning goes on we are getting ...

Re: 2021 Morgan/Peace renderings

I think these have some real potential. We need things to draw attention to the hobby, so in my mind if they do multiple mint marks, PL, MS, DMPL, reverse proofs, etc. it is all drawing attention to the hobby. It might be a pain to build a complete set, but that is not new. It would be really nice i...

I just went to the Zoom site and apparently you can now host a meeting for 40 minutes with up to 100 participants.

Glad you reached out to the VAMers here. I did not know Nate but the positive comments here from those who knew him speaks volumes about his life.

Stay safe.

We awakened to a little snow this morning, which for us is unusual. But it will be fifty tomorrow and it will be gone.

But a nice White Christmas.

Sounds good, are you giving a presentation?

How much money are we talking about on Zoom? Maybe we could all chip in a little since we are not having to dine out.

Re: 1881-O Back in Motion

I forgot to call to everyone's attention the little note in the writeup on the Kennedy party: "but the Kennedys, who gave this one, were a power in the social world at that time—and ambitious beyond their means ." So we might have some hint about living in the Mint, but also the use of the Mint empl...

Re: 2021 dollars

I hope better than they just handled the V75 gold coins. Apparently they all went to dealers and created an extremely rare coin that most here will never be able to buy in grade 70. I was on the site and hit enter within one second of the sale and never got through. With only 1945 coins available th...
