Try B2W Reverse. The pictures dont show well But I think the Obverse die chip is a give away for it.

Re: Killer NEWP just came in!!!... ((Must click))

Those plates Rock and VAM !! Nice ride. The " E " Bodies have quite a following. New and old. A great OT post would be rides. Bikes or cars. I bet many collectors here have other passions with the same vigor. I have a first generation Challenger, in that same color with a Go Wing. I have a few other...

Re: 1878 series

Yes, Crabman, Larry has been the man for rare VAMS. Very good to work with. I own a few coins that slid across his desk to mine. Deeply sorry about Mrs. Ekins. A loss many cant ever fully understand without experiencing it. I'm 30 years married to a woman who puts up with my VAMs and shows interest ...

I guess this is a good thread in which to admit that recently I successfully signed up for editing privileges on VW2.0 and feel Drunk With Power. I've starting by editing the 83P pages here and there. Please let me know if anything looks amiss or should be amended. Am I to understand that all membe...

Nice looking coin, I had the hair lines between the Rt wing and the wreath as counting wheel damage. Have one bagged that looks familiar. In hand is a different look.

Nicely done, Clay. AU is a sweet grade and must show well. The 27A was also my last LN. I found a vf grade just before I found one attributed in xf.

Re: Wow unbelievable

I desire very little. But what I desire consumes me !! That is the VAMmer to a "T" That's all that needs to be said for this Variety. I got into VAMs with the 79R78s. I paid above on many for that time period. I had no regrets then or now. Always thought they were sleepers. as well as the Variety th...

Guessing a small black plaque, with scribbling on it, is heading your way for something or whatever :) They will give them out to anyone. I know that for a fact. Collect a few coins and anyone can get one. We will expect a short speech after we learn all the details. Well earned !! I bet it is a gre...

Re: REDFIELD & PARAMOUNT HOLDERS?

Super rare for a Redfield " Red Holder " for an 1878 S coin. The black ones have sold for $115 lately to $250+ in good times. Finding one that isn't a V86 is also rare. Good story and very collectible. People pay more. Not sure what I'd pay for a red holder in my date. But there are enough of us wil...

Re: Wow unbelievable

Been watching that too. HOLY WOW. Heritage and eBay are selling very well. After seeing the huge spike the last 4 weeks I decided to sell mine off. Listed some before I saw this post. I've been more focused on old Mopars lately. eBay for the slabbed up to AU and MS coins going to Heritage. Most coin...

Re: 1878-S VAM6 DDO "RIB" with DDR and RPM...

What you have is a VAM X . That reverse was used on four VAMs with that being the earliest die state of the R in TRUST. VAMs 35, 93 , 19 and 74 all share this reverse, the B2w. Ill let you figure which one.
