Re: 1885-o Morgan VAM-24 with Belly button.

I have a neat obv strike-thru v24 with the Bellybutton rev. A large piece of wire or something that mimics an H-10... I call it my "Happy Scarface." When I pull it out again I'll post pics here if I remember.

A couple of neat, modern Morg/Peace Hobo's...

The Peace however is pretty well executed and done by a relatively well kno...

Re: 1883 O/O VAM 4 Grump with PCGS Questionable Color

One of the big misconceptions with toning is the whole AT/NT thing. Thats not really how it works. Its more along the lines of Market Acceptable and Not-Market Acceptable. Toning can develop naturally but if it has a look that a particular grader and/or grading service doesn't like/want in their hol...

Excellent Chris! Nice E!! And grease fill on reverse How far down into the hair does the break go? Looks like it transects the bottom corner of the cap band and goes into the hair a little with a large displaced and retained triangle from wheat leaf tip to band and a smaller retained triangle die c...

O/T... CC Half-Dollar Love Token... Can we lock date from MM???

Check out this sweet bit of sexy I picked up yesterday. Not typically a LT buyer but being both a Half-Dollar + being an obv planed leaving a CC rev untouched!! I just had to have it. My coolness Spidy Sense was tingling. Anywho, was wondering if one of you guys has a working knowledge of CC halfs a...

Re: Bags and rolls. Chain of events post punching.

Paper coin rolls weren't starting to be used until the 1920s/30s and weren't being unbuquitously used until around the treasury releases of the 50s/60s when dealers would buy treasury bags and use paper rolls to break them up and sell them in 20 coin lots.
