What did I just step in??

Just came across this very neat VAM with quite a bit of coolness going on. The 45.3. But why on God's green VAM-loving earth is there 13 *THIRTEEN* THIR-FREAKING-TEEN! SPERATE DIE LISTINGS?? Did I just stumble upon the VAM number with the most seperate dies?! Holy hell.. Also, multiple die VAMs typi...

Todd Pollock has a few Carson City GSA bags for sale right now. Saw them at Long Beach. They're so sweet.

Re: 88p Clasher Help, 35A?...

I see no ST or M clash unless that's the M hugging the top bar of the d.. All reverse clashing is either very light or not there aside the N wing line which itself is even extreemly light but the strongest. Ear does appeared doubled on inside but again, doe wear makes me unsure.

88p Clasher Help, 35A?...

Need some help confirming this one. I'm thinking 35A. I can't quite see the doubling in states aside the A crossbar, slightly, as seen but the lack could be due to die wear. Most clashed die listings are info sparce. Heck, 1b 1c 11a 35a all have very similar clashes in terms of the info / pics prese...

Still me. Still somewhat buying and selling while snatching up whatever VAMs present themselves to me that catch my eye with no real rhyme or reason :D

78s rev feature help...

I know I've seen this before. The die scratch / gouge above the F. I cant find it. Went down the list even, looking at all the LFPC reverses for the full r with broken star (both lists) and nada. Was it a different date with a similar feature I remember or did I miss it? Its nagging my brain. Thanks...

Re: 1881-O Update for June

Mark. It typically has to do with similar date doubling and or mm locations as the primary features. You're not alone. Most people who understand Leroys thinking behind it disagree with lumping completely different die pairs in with known VAMs as sub listings. Heck, it's been explained to me on more...

JR. Look closely. I see the crack on Fogies. Just not as strong and obscured by scuffing. I'm thinking his looks like a later stage than yours with more subsequent polishing to remove crack maybe?

Re: struck through?

Slag mark. Its from the slag (impurities) in the alloy when being melted that isnt completely removed. It gets "baked into the cake" of the metal so to speak
