Hi tmanhg and HawkeEye, is there any area on the OBV or REV you would like a close up photo of.

Re: 1883 O VAM.....?

I'm thinking, maybe a EDS 36A due to the polish lines in the fields, especially above the Eagle's wings and around the head.

Re: 1883 O VAM.....?

Thanks for everyone's feedback and time. Struggling here at the moment. It has the 'M' in ear. It's like between a 36A and B at the moment, will have another look tomorrow, cheers all.

Re: 1878P

Hi alefzero, I think you might be right. On the Reverse, the die crack from the star to the 'U' of 'UNITED' is a positive match. Thanks.

Re: For the dark siders

Myself, I prefer the Morgan design. I do like the Peace Dollar, have 86, which, when I have time, will try and attribute these coins and hopefully, as always, there will be many on here with plenty of experience and knowledge of this lovely coin. :)

A nice bit of toning and I do like the '87P'. :D

Re: What happened to 12,000 1895-P silver dollars?

Take a look on YouTube: Pawn Stars: Extremely Rare 1895 Morgan Dollar History.

A Guy walks into the shop trying to sell his NGC Graded PF 64 CAMEO 1895P. Worth a look. About the only time you'll ever see one.

Re: 1881O......?

Hi, appreciate everyone's interest here and time. VAM-47 seems to match pretty well with pitting, die cracking and clashing.

Re: 1881O......?

Thank you HawkeEye for the link. The Die cracking is a perfect match to my coin. Thanks all.
