Re: EXTRTMELY OFF TOPIC, BUT LET'S GO

Sounds like a deal when the grading co. needs to lay there eyes and hands on the coins first. Do we know the mintage, or how many Lowell W's qualify? Seems like the high prices are jumping the gun a bit without population figures to help determine or estimate rarity. Also, it seems like every questi...

EXTRTMELY OFF TOPIC, BUT LET'S GO

I don't want to spend a lot of time on this, so here we go. What's the deal with the "2019 W Lowell National Park Quarters". Some are fetching unbelievable prices, especially the graded ones with "First W Mint Mint Quarters" and "First Releases" and "Great American Coin Hunt" or "Star Label", on the...

Michael, Coin came today, and what an absolute "PL looking" beauty. Positive feedbacks awarded across the board. Thanks, Walt

Re: 1879-s Morgan NGC MS64 - VAM-107A - LDS

VAM-PIRE just might be. 1) Is it still available? 2) Could I see one reverse photo showing entire coin including the holder. 3) Can you give me a price? If interested, send info to my email jwmcarthur_8@hotmail.com

Thanks, Walt

Re: Man im over this

Hang in there man. I added the word "VAM" to my Morgan collection dictionary about five years ago. I've had one crash during that period, but no burn. Listen to what the folks are telling you, as they make up a large part of the backbone of VW. Acquiring a rare variety or a discovery coin is a rush,...

Re: ONE MIGHT CALL IT "SEMI/OT"

Just as I figured, all of your ideas worked. I also plugged in some rarer dates to your equations, and came up with some very interesting results. Why didn't I ask this question sooner? New members-The only dumb questions are the ones that go unasked. Thanks again guys for your professional help.

ONE MIGHT CALL IT "SEMI/OT"

Good evening vam fans, I've been trying to figure out a way to search, say EBAY, by a grade range, and I am failing miserably. You can search by a single grade (1921 S MORGAN DOLLAR MS63), but not by a range or multiple grade (1921 S MSD MS60 thru MS65). Any ideas?

Re: here's an E that I can see

Ya'll crack me up. I am sure you meant to say an "E" even I can see. But those additional photos may have given a potential new member a better understanding of the famous REV E CLASH. Good idea to include pics, and some very good ones on top of that.

Re: Has anyone seen a 12A gator with these cracks?

CC, No, never seen one quite like that, but I'm here for another reason. A load of positive feedback for your photo array. Just think about this message without any pics. You were one of the members I was referring to the other night that was good about including photos in your discussions. I'll jus...

Re: TAKE YOUR PIC

CC and LDMG, Let me try again. All I'm saying is OBV/REV, 2 pics. I think situations when photos are necessary would include BST, Discussion Forum, and What's It Worth, to name a few. I know of no way one can accurately buy, sell, trade, or appraise a coin without a pic, or in some situations a cert...

Re: TAKE YOUR PIC

CC, Word Salad? Need any Blue 'cheese? Now seriously, I'm just putting up a plea for the use of more photos, and why I think they are helpful. Its like photo is to topic as whipped cream is to strawberry pie. So much better when together. And, you must admit, you've never heard anyone complaining ab...

TAKE YOUR PIC

I can hear it now, "Here comes dummy again with another dumb idea". I have brought this up before, and so have others. The need for more photographs. Who would benefit? Shoppers/Buyers, Sellers-If buyers benefit its obvious how sellers would, "WHAT,S IT WORTH" lookers would be better served, Databas...

TAKE YOUR PIC

Good Evening, Its late, my night time meds are kicking in, so I decided to take my first stroll thru "WHAT'S IT WORTH?" Interesting read, until I discovered that about half of the topics had no photos. COME ON MAN. How can one appraise a "not in hand" item without a photo? Some of the TPG's post pho...

Re: 1922-S broadstruck

Col, I love you like a brother, but, as JB said, a picture would go a long way. I'm not very well versed on broad strikes, so I did a little studying. It seems like most of a broad strike deals with the edge of the coin, at least visibly speaking. Sounds like a good candidate for TPG, but a photo wi...
