Wrong reverse, and several others they have listed are bad also. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1885-O-Morgan- ... SweGpceapx

Re: I have a bajillion for Leroy, how about you...

I have a two or three I'd like to send in, but based on my last submission with a relatively obvious letter transfer and gouge coin (with 2 examples sent) that got lumped into a general VAM Xa listing even though it was obviously a different die pairing, and a second example that matched a die pairi...

Seeing as I am old school and not very computer or photo savvy - looks like I won't be able to add much to the website.

testing new photo setup

Bear with me, trying something new to try and get full coin photos that look decent and show some detail.

Re: Dredging up an old posting

So that would make 3 examples of VAM 20 with the gouges. There are only 8 examples of VAM 20 in the registry, so it looks like both versions are not too common. I know of 4 examples that do not have the gouges. Would be interesting to know how the gouges happened. The VAM 20 is interesting in that i...

Re: Dredging up an old posting

Seems patience has it's rewards. I spent a lot of time looking and I finally located a second coin with what could be a possible new VAM 20A listing feature. (always subject to LVA discretion). The bay listing was a polished looking 1891 o, but what I was looking for jumped out at me. Opinions on wh...

Re: SSDC 8TF registry question

A similar dilemma exists in the 1891 o listings - the VAM 4 / 4A looks to be same as the 3 / 3A.... the defining factor being open vs closed 9 in date. Proving they are the same is difficult to do. I posted a closed vs open 9 photo on the old VW and the seems everyone that replied said "open" 9. It ...

1891 o VAMs to trade

Looking for an 1891 O - VAM 9b - will trade all of the following VAMs for a verified example..... all in ANACS holders.... V 1A3 in 12 details, V 1B in 50 details, V 3A1 in 45, V 3A2 in 35, V 10 in 50, V20 in 40 details, and V22 in 45... a couple decent E clashers and the tougher to locate V20.
