I'm with JR on this one . Any VAM collector would love having a Morgan Pattern Dollar. It should be right at the top of the list for anyone interested in the Morgan silver dollars. In the for what it is worth department. My AU 50 no longer has the light gouge through the O or any of the neat polishing lines, but the legend shows the doubling.

I think there was an old post (pre Vamworld 2.0) titled eagle eyed or something to that effect, that referred to the crack from the eagles eye, through the eagles wing to the D of United. If I remember correctly there was no discussion about a VAM number or sending the coin to LVA for attribution.

I have had one of these put away for some time. I just figured Leroy decided there are no attributable features.
