I believe it may be an LDS of the VAM-6A because of the “mushy” details, there appears to be some doubling on PLURIBUS and UNUM. Should I crack the morgen out of its holder in order to get better photos? Closer photos of date (KEY: Black Arrows= dbl , White Arrows= Die Chips , Gray Arrows= Questionable dbl)

I have been trying figure out which VAM this 1880-S (medium S) is and I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. I want to say that the mintmark is tilted left but I am uncertain if it is.

I was able to get it for $45 which is a decent price, it was in a graded MMNS holder for MS- 65 and it appears to be over graded but it does appear to be Mint State(62 or 63) in my opinion . I do apologize for any blurriness and I will add better photos later.

Depends on your perspective , Some people find this Morgan ugly, some people will find it beautiful . I personally find it beautiful because I was able to get it in a trade for a 1879-S graded MS-64 by NGC . Oh and thank you Mr. morgenman for throwing in your perspective.
