Re: ANA Summer Seminar Cancelled

i talked briefly via email to a friend who is quite connected in dealing coins, hes trying to figure out how to simply survive this mess, with the cancellation of shows etc. I think it was bad, but now impossible, and i fear the industry is in real peril At least coins are a hard asset that can be s...

Re: APRIL 2020 O/T Bullion Markets

Iceman; usually i would totally disagree with your thoughts of metals tanking, however as you say, were in very strange times and past performance has little to no bearing within mkts. Since most here are of baby boomer age group, we are quite set into our previous experiences, which may prove very ...

APRIL 2020 O/T Bullion Markets

All Markets a total mess in both direction due to virus fears. Bullion takes huge hits from Stock margin calls, then struggles to gain some ground in volatile trade. Silver clobbered to low of $11.70 or so then recovers to $15 today. That Gold is amazing, after all this mess is now only about $200 f...

Re: OT Florida finally on Stay at Home Order

At least you do have Sunshine! Wa & Or are wet and dreary with 80% humidity plus, which is natrually more Virus susceptable. This whole mess is screwing Americans in every way possible. Bullion usually does well in adversity, but just the opposite with this mess. Were all in for un precedented chall...

WOW DENNIS; I crossed over the Hwy that collapsed in Bay area earthquake- I was 20 miles up the grade, piloting for my mobile home company trucks, which we had 2 60 ft trailers in tow. Myself and crew would have perished , along with others crushed by millions of tons of concrete and steel. Hope Boi...

Re: California Collection

This post really goes to show us how time and the people involved in our beloved Morgan vams really get lost, especially from EAST Coast to West Coast. Lloyd Gabbert was so well known but yet many East coast vammers never knew his existence. Lloyd put more money into vams than anybody i know, of cou...
