Re: 1897-O $1 PCGS AU-53 VAM-6A

I agree with Rob. So does the 6A you are asking about look more like a 6, or as Rob mentioned, is it a legit broke 6A that is close to a 6B? @impairedsquirrel Thanks for your comments Rob. I do not own it - the dealer is an immovable object in price ? and no one is willing to throw out a figure :/ ...

GSA 1884-cc VAM-10A With Multiple Clashing

I have not seen too many CC's with clashing and there are no VAM's actually saying some are clashed. This actually has some clash marks under the wing and above the arrow shafts along with the usual clash points. I do not believe I see any letter transfer :/ Not understanding how die progression wor...

Re: Question: I am attributing my 1902-o VAM-24

I went back thru my files to 2009 including all the letters from LVA. It appears that the reference to Die 1 is just a misnomer in the listing. There never was a VAM-24 Die 2. Hope that helps. I am not finding anything that is any different on my coin than the one posted so it was for more informat...

Wait, so the bellybutton isn't exclusive to v24? Good to know. " lured_in_again » Wed Sep 02, 2020 5:30 pm Got back an 1891 o with the belly button designation from a submission to ANACS last year. I'd have to look and see what the VAM number was. If I remember correctly it was in MS 60 or 61. I di...

I thought it odd that there was a letter from LVA about them and yet no picture.
