Seller did not like hammer price; so winning bid was refunded; reported to EBAY.

I had to pick one up also. It's a 1A2, not a 1A1

I agree with Dennis, I don't see it as a 123. It looks like a long nock to me.

Re: Is a late-stage Hot50 VAM worth attributing

No on else answered so I will give you my opinion. I think that most listed coins in XF-45 do not have a high enough premium to pay for grading and attributing through a third party grader. That being said, there are some that are worth it in a big way. So it really depends on the VAM. That goes for...

Are the photo's for the VAM-1L1 page?
At the time VAM-1L was not split up.
So the VAM-1L page would be great.
Thanks Wayne.

BUMP

Could someone please add these photos to the 1921-D VAM-1L page? Also, would you please place the link to this thread on the VAM-1L page? As of right now there are no scribble photos shown on the page. It would be a shame not to get these photos loaded onto the page.
Thank you

Re: OVERLAY???

This may or may not be what you are looking for, but I use the overlay rotation tool made by Terry Forfa. Sorry if this is not what you want. Good luck. You can see it on the VAMWorld Clashed dies page. http://ec2-13-58-222-16.us-east-2.compute.amazonaws.com/wiki/Clashed_dies Here is the snipit from...

Re: Morgan 1921-D Can't Match Scribbles

Could someone like Wayne PacificWR put the scribble photos on the 1921-D VAM-1L page? It would also be nice if this thread link was placed on the page for future reference. If you would like you can wait on JB messydesk or JR vampicker to confirm my attribution. But it is a match to the photo in LVA...

Re: Spitting Eagle rarity (not)

As others above have said VAM-3 is common. I went to Heritage and looked up past sales of 1891-CC in MS-66. Of the last 20 1891-CCs in MS-66, over 50% were VAM-3. More than one was in MS-66+. I see VAM-3s very often, but I do like it when I see a really nice PL. The frosty loogie really jumps out. I...

Show mw your OT picks

Dollar picking has been a little slow for me recently. So I wandered out last weekend and this coin got my attention.
Here is my last OT pick, but please show me your last OT pick.
I'm sure lots of you have some cool coins to add to this thread

Its probably just the mood of this board .. dunno thanks agai...

1904-O VAM14. John Coxe, Mark Witkower and I spent some time at the last Long Beach show working on this one. Identical obverse die used for the 1904-O V3 BUT this one had been clashed and repolished. It also has a different reverse die. @LateDateMorganGuy , @PacificWR Please post to the 1904-O VAM...

If there is also pitting under the arrowheads it would be 15A.
That's what my VSS sticker says.

Ahhh.... But there is no gouge through the bow!!

Thank you Lee!
If the 15 and 15A pages are correct, 15A is listed for the gouges.
