14 IV 12 · D2a (Tripled Stars, Scribbling Die Scratches) (189) I-3 R-6
Obverse IV 12– Left stars tripled to quadrupled and right stars doubled to tripled towards rim.
Reverse D2a - Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle's right leg and between eagle's left wing and body. Die marker - Short horizontal die scratch at eagle's right leg and diagonal die scratch thru 1-6 outer feathers from bottom of eagle's right wing.

Some specimens have a filled die D mint mark making it flush with field.

The most interesting VAM-14 specimens have a filled mintmark making it almost totally invisible without magnification.
