1884-CC VAM-4B Spiked Date, Die Break E

4B III24 · C3a (Spiked Date, Die Break E) (177) I-2 R-6
Obverse III2 4-Vertical spike from top of the 1. Some specimens show horizontal spike to left of the lower loop of the first 8.
Reverse C3a– Die crack thru tops of MERI with raised break on top left serif of E.

Comments:
1- Gouge through 2nd E in STATES is gone.
