1879-CC VAM-2A Doubled 8, CC Tilted Left, Die Chip Stars

Discovered by Larry Briggs, November 2001.

2A III2 2 · C3b (Doubled 8, CC Tilted Left, Die Chip Stars) (177) I-2 R-5
Obverse III2 2 – Unusual pattern of die chips between 1, 3-7 left stars and rim, left of 1, next to left dot, and LUR-BU.
Reverse C3b – V CC mint mark shifted to left and tilted strongly to left. Bottom of G in God partially filled on some specimens.

Comments:
1- Later die state of VAM-2.
