1879-CC VAM-2 Open 9, Doubled 8, CC Tilted Left

Discovered by Melvin Carmichael, August 1951.

Obverse III2 2 – Open 9 in date. Slightly doubled 8 on left inside and right outside of lower loop.
Reverse C3b – V CC mint mark shifted to left and tilted strongly to left. Bottom of G in God partially filled on some specimens.

Comments:
1- The 9 in the date, as illustrated below, is 'open'.
2- not all VAM-2 have filled G of GOD
