  • VAM-1G - Heavy polishing lines through IB in LIBERTY. Second die has missing nostril from over polished die.
  • VAM-1I - Multiple die gouges at Liberty's eye, cap band, and cotton boll.
  • VAM-8 - Die 1: Curved die scratch in front of forehead and horizontal die scratch between ends of lower two cotton leaves. Fourth right star broken. Same die as VAM-28. Die 2: Tiny die chip below Phrygian cap fold. Fourth right start broken. Same die as VAM-47 Die 1.
  • VAM-18 - Point of the number 4 right star is only partially broken.
  • VAM-27 - Three faint spikes below eyelid front, short vertical line in eyelid top corner and short vertical line at top of eye socket above eyelid.
  • VAM-28 - Same die as Die 1 of VAM-8 with die scratch in front of forehead and one between lower cotton leaf ends. Some LDS specimens show a faint vertical die crack in back of scratch on forehead of VAM-8.
  • VAM-36A - Small diagonal die gouge from top of left wheat leaf thru left wheat grain stalk. Slight doubling of front of LIBERTY band and slight tripling of LIBERTY. Different die than normal VAM-36.
  • VAM-36B - Die crack from denticles in radial direction on left side of E in "E PLURIBUS" with displaced field below E. First obverse die with a break that likely caused a change to second obverse die of VAM-36A.
  • VAM-39 - Some tiny die chips in front of ear and dot at back of nose. Both 8's have raised metal in loops from die polishing. Fourth right star broken.
  • VAM-40 - "Acne" die chips on cheek. Line on Eye.
  • VAM-43 - Raised polished areas inside loops of first 8 and wheat stalks. Fourth star right broken.
  • VAM-45 - Small die chips below eyelid, on nose, behind eye and on cheek with vertical die gouge at rear of eye.
  • VAM-46 - Thin worm-like die scratch behind eye and a couple of small die chips on cheek in front of ear. Same die as VAM-52.
  • VAM-47 - Die 1: Tiny die chip below Phrygian cap fold. Same die as VAM-8 Die 2. Fourth right star broken. Die 2: Polishing scratch in top of ER in LIBERTY and polished loops of first 8.   • VAM-48 - Slight doubling of B in PLURIBUS at bottom, edge of forehead, front of hair and top of Phrygian cap.
