1878-P VAM-30A

Discovery Jan.15,2012 Russ James

30A II/I 7 B/Aa (Extra Talons, Die Break Dot) (Displaced Obverse Field) (180) I-2 R-5
Obverse II/1 7 - Radial die crack from denticles thru dot between E&P with displaced field break there on later die states.
Also has radial die crack thru M in UNUM that has slight displaced field break on late die states.

Comments: As stated, the late stage of the VAM 30 marriage with the cracks found on all examples more advanced.
Note that the crack thru the left dot has curved all the way past the E to the field next to the 7th left star.
Also note that the crack thru the M of UNUM reaches the back of the portrait with some weak field displacement along its length.
