Comments:
1- Attribution note, please read: The VAM-20 shares the same obverse with the VAM-18 and VAM-19, which are common 8tf varieties. The reverse for the VAM-20 is similar to the reverse for the VAM-19, especially to an untrained eye, or a biased eye that badly wants their Morgan to be a VAM-20, which brings much higher premiums. You can even find slabs from reputable companies that incorrectly label a VAM-19 specimen as a VAM-20. The moral of the story....if you buy a so-called "VAM-20" make very certain that you're getting a VAM-20 and not a VAM-19, or VAM-18 for that matter. Check the reverse thoroughly! If you are having trouble telling the difference between the reverse for the 1878-P VAM-19 and the 1878-P VAM-20, try this page: 1878-P VAM-19 vs VAM-20.

Strongly doubled date. The obverse dies were used in the order 1878-P VAM-18, 1878-P VAM-20, 1878-P VAM-19. VAM-20 is more rare than the other two VAMs that share the same obverse die.
